Mighty Strong Kids

Our Blue Belt classes are unlike any of our other classes.  All Blue Belt students come together in one location.  Your child will learn how to roll, fall and how to deal with someone who is attacking them from the ground.  We have mats at this location so we have a soft foundation for the students to use.  Below are the requirements/standards set forth for the Blue Belt class.

1.  Students will be there for 2 hours each  week.  The cost for this class is therefore $10.00 for each student weekly.

2.  Students need to bring something to drink weekly.  If you forget, we do have a fridge with drinks for sale at the school.

3.  Students will need to wear uniform pants and a t-shirt to class.  The top for the uniform and the belt are not required for this class.  Students spend a lot of time on the ground (mats) and the belt and top can be cumbersome.

4.  Students will need to bring their sparring gear each week.  Sparring is a big part of this class.  You will need a complete set in order to spar.  If you need any new gear, you may order it on enrollment day.

5.  Please inform the instructors of any medical conditions that your child has.  If your child has asthma, he/she will need to bring their inhaler weekly.

6.  Please have your child on time for class each week.  It is very important that they attend the warm-up at the beginning of each class.  If you have a work related issue that prevents you from doing this, please inform the instructors.

7.  Payment is required before the beginning of class.  Students must also check in weekly even if you have pre-paid for the session.

8.  All students go through the Blue Belt level class at least twice.  They will receive a stripe on their belt at their first promotion if they have met all requirements set forth by the instructors.  At their second promotion, they will receive their Brown Belt.
